The New iMac

I was just thinking on what’s new in Apple website since I never checked on their site since last week. You know, apple always have good new to the consumer world. They never fail to give us good news and good stuffs… As I clicked on my bookmark, I noticed a different front page of their site. And yes guys, the new iMac is now in town! As expected, Steve makes me drool over their new baby.

What’s new with this? Well, Apple tends to regularly upgrade their Mac models. There are a lot of generations for each models that they always tends to enhance the specs and sometimes redesign the entire unit.

DESIGN:

The new iMac now is thinner compared to its predecessor. Its amazingly and elegant design makes your workspace free from clutter from using the desktop. It gives additional space since everything is inside this fabulous screen. From Hard Drive, Logic Board, memory, LCD to Optical Drive, everything is inside this Anodize Aluminum Frame Glass Cover. Would you believe that there isn’t any single screw that you can see on this Hottie? Only a single opening on the bottom part for easy access to its memory, for upgrade.

SPECIFICATIONS:

And since it’s an updated one, this new iMac runs into a whopping 3.06GHz of the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This means, that everything will not be the same as before. All of our application runs in a speed of light (at least, almost… LOL).

Also, make sure to fasten your seat belt as I tell you that this new iMac comes with the latest and the best video card made for Mac. NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS and 512 Mb dedicated memory will surely give you a pleasant and detailed viewing of anything on your Mac. It’s like having a cinema display on your work desk. The 20-inch and 24-inch flat panel LCD will give you vivid colors and breath-taking clarity.

FEATURES:

The new iMac comes with the greatest operating system ever made. Sorry Microsoft, it’s not Vista. It also comes with the add-on iLife ‘08 wherein everything that you ever want for in a computer, is included.

PRICE:

The good thing about Apple is that they do not take advantage on every little thing that they change or upgrade on their system. Prices are the same as the previous iMac. Cool huh!?
